Advantages of ART_passes lies in the fact that access to the framebuffer we have on his name. It greatly simplifies the setup of the working process.
Data for the "fast" connection with me:
ART_passes tested for the version of Maya 2009 (x64), Maya 2010.

Framebuffer can be created manually, which entails a very routine process, but I recommend that you use for this purpose script ART_MR_SA_renderer.mel.
Number color_pass must match the number buffer_name , otherwise it will pop up error when rendering. Also very important not to leave the fields blank buffer_name.
